Leach Engineering Consultants is a professional services firm providing Civil and Environmental consulting engineering services to clients in the municipal, commercial and private sectors. Our office is located in the Connecticut River Valley and the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Services focus on the planning, design and construction of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater systems and treatment, land development and site engineering. The owner of the firm, Gary A. Leach, P.E., has more than 30 years of professional design and consulting experience, and employs a staff of highly qualified and experienced engineers. Projects are primarily municipal located in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Project Engineers

Duties include: development of construction plans and specifications, preparation of engineering reports, evaluation of new and existing facilities, development of project scope and both engineering and construction cost estimates, working with other design team members (structural, electrical and mechanical), communication with clients, operators and regulators, and management of multiple projects.

Construction Resident Engineers

Duties include: observing construction and administering owner’s contract for projects including pipe lines, treatment plants, storage tanks and site development. Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary.

Entry Level Engineers

A concentration and experience with water and wastewater, site engineering and construction is desired. Duties include: working under the instruction of the Project Engineer and other team members including developing plan documents, specifications, reports, design basis, etc.
